Become A School Growing Through Christian Faith

All Souls St Gabriels School reaffirms its Christian foundation and actively promotes the values and beliefs which form the core of the school's philosophy and which give direction and purpose for all aspects of life and living.

Objectives

1. Practices and models in every aspect of its behaviour, structure and management, its Christian foundation and belief.
2. Nurture and sustain the values, beliefs and traditions which have provided the positive ethos of the school in the past.
3. Articulate clearly the Christian values and beliefs upon which the philosophy of the school is based to all members of the school community.
4. To develop partnerships with other schools and communities.
5. Provide opportunities for students to develop a consistent set of Christian values.

Strategies

1. Maintain the religious traditions of the school such as Chapel Worship, celebration of special feasts and the dignity and solemnity of our special occasions.
2. Develop further activities and opportunities for involvement in community service - Servire Regnare.
3. Continue to develop our relationship with the parish church of St Pauls, Charters Towers.
4. Ensure all policies and handbooks reflect the Christian tradition of the school.
5. Use public occasions to teach the faith of the school. Ceremony gives order and dignity to ordinary situations and highlights values in an important setting.
