The School Community is larger than just the students and their parents.
ASSG SCHOOL INC
The School is conducted by All Souls St Gabriels School Inc. Any parent or friend of the School can become a member of this body. Each year a School Board is elected and charged with the responsibility of running the school. Board members include past students, as well as past and present parents.
Mrs Diane Alford
Diane is a past parent of four recent past students and is married to an Old Boy, and is also the daughter of an Old Boy, so it fair to say she knows the school well. She is a grazier and is a passionate advocate for rural education.
ALL SOULS ST GABRIELS PAST STUDENT ASSOCIATION INC.
All Souls St Gabriels Past Student Association is the past students body. The Association meets regularly and conducts an annual Past Students’ Reunion in September or October, as well as the very popular Kev Burry Project Weekend in January, when past students come from all over the north to work on various small school projects and enjoy a weekend of fun and fellowship.
Mr David Muguira
David is an Old Boy and leads a very active Past Student body.
ALL SOULS & ST GABRIELS SCHOOL FOUNDATION
The Foundation is an organisation established to assist the School financially. Past Students or parents often leave bequests in their will and the Foundation supports an Education Fund for a number of scholarships to support worthy students.
Brother Robin Warsop, BSB
Brother Robin has been associated with the School for more than 60 years as a teacher, Head of Junior School, Feetham House Master and Chaplain. He is now retired and lives in Charters Towers, but in the true spirit of the School motto he still serves – as our Chaplain Emeritus.
ALL SOULS ST GABRIELS PARENTS & FRIENDS ASSOCIATION
The P&F supports the School in numerous ways and all parents and friends of the school are welcome to join. The P&F, along with its offshoot, the Junior School Support Group (JSSG), provide the School with assistance in purchasing additional requirements which will benefit the students.
Many of their activities are by necessity fundraising activities, but the P&F also organise functions which seek to assist new families to the school to become part of our community.
