An opportunity exists for energetic and passionate person to join our Boarding Team as a Senior Residential Boarding Supervisor - Girls or Boys Boarding:
SENIOR BOARDING RESIDENT
Commencing Term 1, 2026
Term Time
The School seeks to employ a highly capable Senior Residential Boarding Supervisor. The Senior Boarding Resident is a middle leader in the School and is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of all boarding students in their care outside regular school hours. They will work closely with the Pastoral Care Team to ensure a team approach to student wellbeing is maintained. The Senior Resident will be provided with accommodation on Campus and shifts will be rostered.
Duties will include:
- Being responsible for a specific dormitory and its students
- Weekday evening and weekend supervision of Boarding Students as rostered on a fortnightly basis
- Attending functions, events and activities to supervise Boarding Students (as rostered) both around Charters Towers and Townsville
- Supporting the Boarding Recreation Program
- Providing pastoral care for students
- Developing working partnerships with parents
- Bus driving duties (if licenced)
Mandatory requirements
- Current Qld Blue Card
- First Aid qualification
