Kitchen Hand
All Souls St Gabriels School is an Independent Pre-prep to Year 12 co-educational day and boarding school, in the Anglican tradition, which has provided quality education for over 100 years to students from all over northern Australia and beyond.
An opportunity exists for an energetic and passionate person to join our catering and hospitality team in the following role:
Kitchen Hand (various positions)
(Casual or Permanent Part-time; Term time only;
hours to be negotiated; Immediate start)
The role includes supporting the catering and hospitality teams with general kitchen hand duties including but not limited to:
- meal preparation
- stock control/unloading
- serving meals
- preparing for special events
- clean-up of kitchen
- clearing of dining hall
- washing dishes
- laundering catering linen and other functions as directed by the Catering Supervisor.
Mandatory qualifications
- Current Blue Card
- First aid training would be viewed favourably
- Comply with all current workplace requirements
Hours of work will include early mornings, day, evening and weekend shifts as negotiated including split shifts.
