All Souls St Gabriels School is an independent Pre-prep to Year 12 co-educational day and boarding school, in the Anglican tradition, which has provided quality education for over 100 years to students from all over northern Australia and beyond.

An opportunity exists for an energetic and passionate person to join our catering and hospitality team in the following role:

(Permanent Part Time; Term Time only; hours to be negotiated include weekends;
Commencing Term 4 – week commencing 4 October 2022)

The role is integral to the functioning of the hospitality team and works closely with the Catering Supervisor and other members of the hospitality team.  The duties include meal preparation and planning, staff supervision, stock control, serving meals, preparing for special events.  The main functions relate to the serving of nutritious, tasty food for the boarding school students and supporting a harmonious team environment that ensures a great dining experience for the School. Tasks are as directed by the Catering Supervisor. 

Applicants must hold a current Blue Card and ideally a Cert III in Commercial Catering and Hospitality.  Hours of work will include early mornings, evenings and weekends each week of the School term as negotiated with the Catering Supervisor.   Weekend work is an essential criteria for this role.
